About Swan Supping
Swan Supping is a Newsletter published by the Aylesbury Vale & Wycombe branch of the Campaign for Real Ale. It consists of beer related articles, up to date pub news, local beer festivals and socials organised by the branch.
It has been in print since April 1997, it is published bimonthly and is completly free! It is financed by advertising - chiefly pubs but also businesses unrelated to beer, any profit goes to the CAMRA HQ in St Albans to further future campaigning initiatives. The circulation is 5000 copies, distributed to over 200 pubs and local railway stations by willing volunteers of the branch.
Our strength is based upon our consistency, each member is allocated a set number of pubs which they are then responsible for delivering to each publication date. The longevity of our Newsletter shows our commitment to promoting real ale and pub culture.
We actively encourage advertisers to our Newsletter, irrespective of business or location and offer rates which reflect our distribution area. Please make all cheques payable to CAMRA AV & W. Our rates are shown below:
- 1/4 Page - £35 (colour £60)
- 1/2 Page - £70 (colour £120)
- Full Page - £115 (colour £200)
There is a prompt payment discount of 10%.
Front Page adverts are charged an extra 10% on top of the above rates. No one can book the front page exclusively!
Copy Deadlines are 2 weeks prior to publication.
