Market Square, AylesburyWhen Chiltern Brewery took over the running of the Farmers Bar for the National Trust it became the first bar in the country to be no-smoking and have no piped music. Dating from circa 1455 this is the oldest courtyard Inn in England and was donated by the Rothschild family in 1924. Ales are often used in cooking; lunches here are made from ingredients freshly sourced from local suppliers.
